Cancellation Refund Policy.

If you are unable to attend the 2022 AFA conference for any reason including  that you have COVID and you are subject to your state's COVID isolation rules, unfortunately we are not able to offer you a refund unless you cancel before the final payment is provided to the conference venue on 19 July 2022.  After this date your conference fees will be with the venue and refunds will not be possible.   However, once all conference accounts are settled, if we have a surplus, and this is by no means guaranteed, we will apportion a refund to anyone who was not able to attend conference due to unforeseen circumstances including COVID isolation rules.  This may be a full or partial refund depending on numbers of attendees and the quantum of the surplus.  Please correspond with the conference treasurer,  Glen Bracegirdle via E-mail treasurer@albinismaustralia.org if you should be unfortunate enough to fall into this category.

If the conference is cancelled due to the NSW Government imposing restrictions such that the Novotel Hotel is not allowed to host the conference and the AFA receives a full refund from the venue we will provide each registrant with a full refund of their conference registration fees within 1 month of the AFA receiving a refund from the Novotel.

The AFA cannot take any responsibility for other expenses, such as transport and accommodation charges.
