Brisbane’s iconic King George Square will be filled with the happy sounds of ukulele this June for SPRUKE- Brisbane’s Ukulele Festival. SPRUKE on the Square is a FREE event for all ukulele enthusiasts of any age and the uke curious!Join BUMS Brisbane Ukulele Musicians Society Inc for a day and night filled with fun activities and performances. Two stages will feature performances all day, showcasing ukulele groups and artists from all around south east Queensland.

Uke'have fun from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
Get involved and play by joining one of the themed mini jams or, if you are new to the ukulele, a beginners session. Get up and strut your stuff at the open mic.
This big day of ukulele fun culminates with ‘Ukes Under The Stars’ a huge jam and concert to strum, sing and dance the night away. A giant LED screen will display the songs so every one can play along together.
You don’t even need to own a uke when you get here, just head to the music market with everything for sale a ukulele player could want from instruments, latest gear and accessories.
