Robert and Clara Schumann - this program features two of their most melodious and engaging works, as well as the last and most compelling Violin Sonata of Brahms. “When Two Must Part” - the song by Ukranian composer, Mykola Lysenko provides a musical tribute to their great love, as well as a broader symbolic connection to the many separations and individual tragedies caused by the current war in Ukraine.”
