Socialism 2022 is Perth's premiere conference of anti-capitalist ideas and radical history. It’s the best place in Perth to meet other socialists, discuss revolutionary ideas and find out about how to shake up the system. If you are looking to understand the world in order to change it, this conference is not to be missed!

As Roe v Wade looks poised to be struck down, imperialist tensions continue to soar, and inflation sends real wages and living conditions spiralling downwards, the need for a radical alternative to capitalism is desperately clear.

Socialism 2022 features sessions on gender, Indigenous resistance, the climate crisis, revolution and more. The conference has many sessions for those new to socialist politics where you can find out what Marxist politics are all about and ask any questions you might have. We’ll also be hosting a number of guest speakers who are eyewitnesses to occupation, activists against injustice and researchers in a hidden history of racism and resistance. Socialism Conference will take place at the University of Western Australia on Saturday August 13. Please wear a mask and only attend if fully vaccinated.

Tickets will no longer be available via trybooking from August 12, 10.30pm. However tickets are available at the door, outside Hew Roberts lecture theatre at UWA Nedlands campus from 9.30am, Saturday August 13.
