Through a grant from the Law Foundation of Tasmania, the development of this Ultimate Survival Guide has come together, with the very kind contributions and many words of wisdom from our legal profession, to deliver near-on 150 pages of information, tips, best practice suggestions and worldly guidance geared towards early career lawyers diving into their first year in legal practice. Aptly, the opener of the manual states:

Starting any new job can be overwhelming. Law, in particular, can be scary in your early years as you come to grips with putting theory to practice and, inevitably, clocking up some big hours.
