Goals - Provide a connection between Netball NSW and community coaches and umpires. - Give personal support from an experienced coach or umpire - Develop coach and umpire confidence - Introduce coaching and umpiring methods - Provide information on where coaches and umpires can get further help to develop their coaching - Challenge and empower coaches and umpires to set personal goals Program - A 3-hour session that incorporates theory and practical components. - A theme will be decided each year - Umpiring (theory) discussion of common themes found at state events, extension of any connect and learn sessions that may have been delivered early in the year. - Umpiring (practical) view and analyse skill development, error detection and correction, practical positioning and vision techniques - Coaching (theory) developing a training session, developing a training season, delivering feedback, extension of any connect and learn sessions that may have been delivered early in the year. - Coaching (practical) view and analyse skill development, error detection and correction Target Audience - Umpires working toward National C accreditation - Badged Umpires - Foundation Accredited coaches and beyond - Must be a Registered 2022 Netball NSW member
