Tony and his wife Nicola usually spend half their time living in southern Africa where Tony researches and writes his books. All 20 of Tony’s novels are set in Africa and capture the true feeling of the locations he depicts.
In this latest title, The Pride, Ex-mercenary Sonja Kurtz is out for revenge after her daughter Emma is assaulted by an abalone poacher while on a beachside holiday near Cape Town. Poaching is not only about the big, iconic species like rhino and elephant, it's also about lesser known things like plants and shellfish. In his newest adventure The Pride, Tony takes a dive into abalone smuggling out of out of South Africa through Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
