Mesmerising Mandolin with Masataka
We are honoured to be hosting one of Japan's finest mandolinist at Happs Wines- Masataka Hori. Masataka is an accomplished musician with many accolades including the winner of the Raffaele Calace International Mandolin Solo Competition in Italy.
Masataka is reknowned for blending genres and his jazz fusion band called “Mandolicks”(electric mandolin, piano, bass guitar and drums) is praised for its ingenuity. He has released many albums and is hailed as the most exciting and “borderless” mandolinist in Japan - his classical solo album “Preludio” and his most recent jazz fusion album “Xanadu” (2021) are highly acclaimed by the classical and Jazz music industries.
Masataka will perform two majestic sets. The seated performance will be interluded by stand up canapes by the talented team at Catered by Jacqueline and a selections of succulent Happs' wines in the stunning outdoor tasting area.
