Join East Timor Hearts Fund for a screening of Take Heart: Deadly Heart to raise awareness of rheumatic heart disease (RHD) in Australia and one of our closest neighbours, Timor-Leste.RHD is a killer disease that can be prevented. Some of the highest rates of RHD in the world are found among Indigenous Australians, and Timorese people.
Take Heart: Deadly Heart tells the inspiring story of how remote Aboriginal communities across the top end of Australia are adopting innovative strategies to eliminate RHD.
