Launch of the Social Justice Statement 2022-2023 (CANCELLED)

The Ballarat Diocesan Social Justice Commission will launch the 2022-2023 Social Justice Statement, "Respect: Confronting Violence and Abuse" on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10.00am - 12.00noon. This free event will be held in hubs or can be viewed online.Goals:
* To raise awareness about domestic and family violence.
* To identify and highlight the importance of supportive, respectful relationships.
Keynote Speakers:
10.15am: Todd Sparkman, Senior Sergeant Victoria Police, "The Realities of the Issue".
11.00am: Susan Muller, Family Safety Practitioner, Family Law Services, CatholicCare Victoria, "How can we be proactive, supportive community?"
Venues:
Hubs will be held at Ballarat, Colac, Hamilton, Horsham, Mildura, Swan Hill and Warrnambool. If attending online, you will be sent a zoom link closer to the event. Registrations close 4pm on September 28, 2022.
