Breakfast with the Birds (SOLD OUT)
Take in the sights and sounds of diverse birdlife on this free guided tour of Glen Iris Wetlands to celebrate the National Bird Week 2022!
Join us for a delicious pre-tour breakfast to start the day, followed by a bird tour led by local Stonnington bird experts and photographers Liz Hackett and George Fernando. On the tour you’ll learn about the wonderful assortment of bird species that frequent the wetlands and how to identify them.
ABOUT GEORGE: a long-standing member of local community group, Friends of Gardiners Creek Valley, George has been observing and photographing the beautiful birdlife at Glen Iris Wetlands for many years.
ABOUT LIZ: A recent graduate of Stonnington's Environmental Champions program and self-professed 'bird nerd', Liz has been an active birder since 2007 and loves sharing her bird knowledge to help others connect to nature.
