Event Details
‘Respite’ or ‘respite care’ is when someone else takes care of the person you care for, so that you can have a break. If you become sick or injured and can’t continue to care for your loved one, emergency respite services are available to take over care while you recover. Join us for a 30 minute information session with Carer Gateway who will talk through emergency respite options.
With the holiday season around the corner, the role of carers can be more stressful than usual. This is a great opportunity to learn more about respite opportunities and the support available to you.
Carer Gateway is a national, federally funded initiative that supports Australia’s unpaid carers.
Registration for the event is free and attendees will be emailed details to join the Zoom session!
