Allegri Ensemble, together with Pillinger Quartet, presents an evening of breathtaking choral music to mark the Easter season. Featuring two masterpieces of the classical canon - The Lamentations of Jeremiah (Tallis) and Jesu meine Freude (J.S. Bach), the concert also includes motets by Poulenc (Tenebrae factae sunt) and Felix Mendelssohn (In der Passionszeit and Am Karfreitag).
