About
Join professional puppeteer Daniel Dosek for an engaging 2-hour masterclass - 'Principles of Puppetry'.
In this masterclass, participants will learn foundational principles of Puppetry and be guided through training exercises used by professional puppeteers to engage audiences. Participants will then work together to put the newly learnt principles into play by crafting a puppet inspired by the traditional Japanese puppetry form Bunraku and bringing this puppet character to life. At the end of the workshop, there will be an opportunity for participants to share their work with the rest of the group and seek feedback.
