In addition to the glorious music, ranging from the much loved Prelude in G to the jubilant Gigue in D, Connection 2: Suite Life explores the narrative embedded in Bach’s cello suites through a series of dramatic vignettes which provide glimpses into the life of an aspiring musician, Dulcie. We meet Dulcie as she returns from study in Europe, moves into a bedsit above an inner-Melbourne shop and endeavours to establish a career as a professional musician. Starring cellist, Josephine Vains and actor, Leah Filley. Mingle after the performance over complimentary wine and cheese in the gallery.
