One women’s passion for collecting heritage roses inspired the developmentof this garden. Catherine MacLean’s hundreds of roses on a suburban blockbecame a generous donation that enabled Stage I of the garden to be completed. This collection,all pre-1930 & most pre1900, won the National Trust NSW Heritage CollectionAward in 2016. Stage II (left opp.) will house Australian bred roses (Clark,Riethmüller, Fitzhardinge) as well as examples by significant internationalbreeders.
