BUSINESS LUNCH
with GREG HUNT Federal Minister for Health
Committee for Greater Frankston (C4GF) is hosting Greg Hunt, Federal Minister for Health and one of the peninsula’s two federal MPs, at a business lunch in February.
Mr Hunt was appointed health minister last January. One of his first public statements was about Frankston’s potential to become Melbourne’s third medical hub, a key advocacy objective of C4GF.
The minister, who was born at Frankston Hospital in 1965 and lives on the peninsula with his family, will outline the Federal Government’s commitment to the creation of a nationally recognised medical and education precinct, which will involve Monash University’s Peninsula campus and Frankston Hospital, create high-value jobs, and drive prosperity in our region.
Mr Hunt is also expected to speak about how health policy will respond to the changing needs of an ageing population as well as local social health issues.
