NGAA 2018 Research Presentation - SA Launch
Please join us as we present the findings of NGAA's most recent research project, Transformational Infrastructure Projects in Australia's Fast-Growing Outer Suburbs.
We will look at case studies of transformational projects from within the NGAA membership, outlining the considerable impact such projects have on the ways people live and work in the growth areas of Australia’s major cities.
The report includes a variety of projects, including passenger rail linking population growth to employment hubs, the redevelopment and repurposing of Council assets to create dense activity centres, a coordinated set of strategies to reshape and integrate a growth area, and health and education precincts.
This research will provide a resource for growth area Councils and governments to draw on when planning and advocating for transformational projects, including costs and benefits, funding opportunities, policy, governance and paths to implementation.
We will also use the research presentation to share the final report on The State of Australia's Fast-Growing Outer Suburbs.
