2018 07 01 Plastic Free July Film "Doing Good in the 'Hood"

On the first day of Plastic Free July, join us for a special screening of short inspirational films about giving single-use plastics the flick. Learn about the positive actions people in Australia and around the world are taking to tackle this issue. Movies include award-winning short Straws by Linda Booker. Following the films, we’ll have an exciting panel featuring local sustainable entrepreneurs and high schooler Ina Curic.
After the films, we'll hear from exciting guest panellists:
- Rebecca Veksler of Sol Cups
- Amy Lynch and Annie Pryor of Bondi Bandits
- Ina Curic (of Young Gun, Sydney Girl High School
- Paul Frasca of Sustainable Salons
There’ll be wonderful prizes to win as well and a beautiful Welcome to Country!

All proceeds will go to support environmental initiatives.
