Learn the basics of throwing on the wheel with tutor and professional potter, Nicci Parry-Jones. These classes are designed for adult beginners and will cover:

various techniques of throwing
centering clay
what clay to use and where to buy it
turning and finishing your pots
where to next? The BFAC have regular pottery classes for you to continue developing your skills, ask Nicci about intermediate classes with her.

These 2 hour classes will run for 4 weeks during July/Aug and students will benefit from attending all four classes. The $165 fee includes clay and handouts provided to the students at the classes. Firing can be done at the BFAC for a small fee.

Each session is from 9.30am to 11.30am Sunday 22nd and 29th July and 5th and 12th August. A suggested list of requirements will be sent to students on booking.
