Fantastic opportunity during the school holidays to learn a new language in a week

Bring your child down to our Wembley Training facilities to learn together in a safe environment with other Parents & Kids too

Auslan, or Australian Sign Language, is the language used by Australia's Deaf Community. Access Plus WA Deaf runs Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Auslan Classes all year round, offering the opportunity to learn about Deaf Culture, along with an introduction to this beautiful language.

Our Basic Auslan Course covers the following:

  • Deafness Awareness Training & Deaf Culture
  • Fingerspelling
  • Numbers & Counting
  • Dates & Times
  • Greetings, introductions and exchanging personal information
  • Question words - who, what, when, where, why, how
  • Colours
  • Food & drink
  • Talking about your surroundings, where you live and your family
  • Transport
  • Recreational activities
  • Other vocabulary and conversation skills

At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion.


Every morning, from 10.30am - 2pm, on Tue 1st October to Fri 4th October 2019

$299 for 1 Parent and 1 Child: 4 three hour lessons (12 hours in total) over a week

or $200 for 1 Child 

Price includes 30 minute lunch break (simple food provided, sandwich, fruit, chips)


We have Auslan classes across all suburbs in metro Perth, and can deliver in rural/regional on request.
