The business of the meeting will be to receive reports from the Chairman, the Treasurer with the 2019 Financial reports, adopt the revised Rules of Association and to conduct the election of Office Bearers for 2020/2021. The current Rules of the Association provide for ½ the Board to retire each year with all retiring members eligible for re-election.
Under the new rules of the Association the Board of the Association the Board will constitute 4 office holders and at least 3 ordinary members. The current Board has determined that the ideal number of Board Members is 9. Therefore, for the purpose of this election there are a minimum of 4 positions available. In addition, the rules of the Association also require the following 4 positions be filled by financial member of the Association. Chairman, Deputy Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
Nomination forms for both the Board of Management and the positions of Office Bearers are available from the Admin Officer. Nomination forms are required for nomination by potential members for the elections. All members are entitled to a copy of the Association Constitution and an email copy will be sent to any member or potential member on request. at email@example.com.
