The Tempest and Hagseed (HSC)
These interactive sessions are designed to enhance students’ understanding of their HSC texts as well as the writing process. The esteemed presenters will share their knowledge and respond to questions from students and teachers.
Dr Gabriella Edelstein is a lecturer in English and a recipient of a S. Ernest Sprott Fellowship. She is working on her first book about the relationship between playwriting and censorship in the 17th century.
Associate Professor Caroline Webb specialises in English literature since 1900, especially fantasy literature. Her monograph on the children’s fantasies of J.K. Rowling, Terry Pratchett, and Diana Wynne Jones, Fantasy and the Real World in British Children’s Literature: The Power of Story, was published by Routledge in October 2014.
