YWCA International Women's Day Comedy Show - Melbourne

In 2020 YWCA Australia is introducing our Comedy Showcase, presenting some of Australia’s leading, young, women comedians.
This year's comedian for Melbourne is Aurelia St Clair.
Aurelia is biracial, bisexual and bilingual, but above all she is woke af. Her deadpan delivery and dark sense of humour will snatch your wig, lay your edges and make you laugh.
Aurelia started doing stand-up at the RAW Comedy competition in 2017 where she reached the Victorian State finals. She has since performed in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2018 and 2019, the Melbourne Fringe Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival and Brisbane Funnyfest.
St Clair 's material covers race, religion, sex, the price of avocados and other things that will make Liberal voters nervous. She's not afraid to make the crowd laugh and/or cry.
“Proficient master of deadpan comedy. A seasoned performer”★★★★ The Music
“Quietly sassy yet gorgeously confident” - Weekend Notes
“Stay woke” - Childish Gambino
