With Grace & Gratitude
We are thrilled to reveal a significant donation to NERAM– Hydrangeas (1947) by esteemed Australian painter Grace Cossington Smith. Gifted by the Packsaddle Fundraisers, this work is an important and splendid addition to the collection. Packsaddle raise funds with the main aim to add to the collections held at NERAM and this is their most recent donation to the NERAM Collection. We are so grateful and so excited to display this work for the very first time!
Brooke Dalton | Inside Out
Gardens, interiors and still life vignettes, inspired, collected, rearranged and dreamt up are depicted in paintings with vivid strokes of colour and pattern by Narrabri artist Brooke Dalton. Serving to transport us to a place where colour is brave and life is uplifting, these paintings are a new view of the way we live or would like to live.
Presented in collaboration with Michael Reid Murrurundi.
Christopher Hodges | The Line
This exhibition, curated from the NERAM Collection, focuses on the line in Christopher Hodges’ work. Hodges uses a strong line as its own motif as well as delineating form, whether it be in printmaking, painting or sculpture. Hodges’ early career began at Coventry Gallery in the 1970s and he has extensively exhibited since then.
Online bookings will close 11:59pm, Thursday 17th September 2020. Please call NERAM on 02 6772 5255 on Opening Day to ask about availability.
After the opening day regular exhibition viewing will be permtted during gallery opening hours but subject to limited numbers of visitors at any one time.
