Best Practice for Upper Limb Management for Neurological Patients
About the course
This course provides Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, both within the Acute and Sub-acute settings, with the opportunity to update skills and theoretical knowledge in the management of the upper limb in neurological patients. By registering to this course, participants will recieve 12-months access to nine online videos, three 1-hour online community of practice sessions and a guided reflection session 3-months following the completion of the course. The communities of practice are limited to eight participants per group to deliver targeted teaching and support, based on shared goals and interest.
Management Tool for Acute Hemiplegic Shoulders (MTAHS), Strapping, Collar and Cuff, Positioning and Stretching, Functional Electrical Stimulation, Splinting, Serial Casting, Botulinum Toxin, Modified Constraint Induced Movement Therapy.
Date: Three online community of practice sessions, offered throughout October, November and December 2020. Exact dates are published during the booking process.
