The Australian premier of this 2018 New York musical is brought to the Therry stage by the award-winning production team of director Amanda Rowe, musical director Mark DeLaine and choreographer Kerry-Lynne Hauber. Music and lyrics by Peter Mills, book by Peter Mills and Cara Reichel.
From New York to Paris In World War I, with a lively ragtime and jazz music score, this joyous and moving show chronicles the true story of the USA’s first women soldiers. These intrepid heroines served as bi-lingual telephone operators on the front lines, helping to turn the tide of the war. They returned home to fight a six-decade-long battle for equality and recognition.
The season is Thursday, 3rd to Saturday, 5th June and Wednesday, 9th to Saturday, 12th June at 7.30 pm with marintees both Saturdays at 2 pm. All shows are at The Arts Theatre, 53 Angas Street, Adelaide with convenient on-street and nearby off-street parking at affordable rates.
There is a $15 preview on Wednesday, 2nd June at 7.30 pm.
