Wallaby Creek Festival is a 3 day celebration of music and the arts, on Wallaby Creek at Wallaby Creek Bridge, 720 Shipton's Flat Road Rossville, surrounded by the beautiful wet tropics rainforest of the far north. The festival has been held in the middle week of the September school holidays each year at Rossville just south of Cooktown. 2021 will be our 19th festival and our first on our new site.
The three day program offers music on 2 main stages, and on the third stage, a jam/chalkboard stage, with something for everyone. Poets Breakfast and a packed workshops schedule, Circus, Dance, Roving street theatre, a complete Children's Festival, delicious food stalls, healing spaces & market stalls and croc free swimming in the Wallaby Creek and the Annan River, complement the entertainment. Camping is included in the three day festival with bush showers and toilets.
Wallaby Creek Festival is a wonderful family-focused event.
