Swan River Ramblers play Lyric's Underground
ONlLINE SALES NOW CLOSED - tickets available on the door from 6.30pm. All tickets are seated.
Drawing repertoire from jazz & swing standards, trad. jazz, bebop, blues, new orleans style music and more, The Swan River Ramblers combine a wealth of performance experience, with instrumental virtuosity and a keen sense of spontaneity. For an evening of great jazz that is guaranteed to please, join the Ramblers at Lyric's Underground on Saturday May 15th.
Led by bassplayer Pete Jeavons, the Swan River Ramblers (SRR) was formed in 2017 and, true to their name, the group performs mainly in a roving, quartet format aboard the Paddlesteamer Decoy as it cruises the Swan River during WA’s warmer months.
In a rare jaunt away from the decks of the PS Decoy, the Ramblers make their Lyric’s Underground debut with an expanded line-up featuring new recruit Daniel Susnjar (drums) alongside regular ramblers Adam Hall (trumpet/vocals), Adrian Galante (clarinet), Ray Walker (guitar) and of course Pete Jeavons (double bass).
COVID: This performance will comply with all government regulations in order to keep all attendees safe. Ticket sales will be limited to allow appropriate social distancing within the venue as is required by whichever phase of the Covid restrictions is in effect. In the (hopefully) unlikely event that this performance is cancelled, all ticket purchases will be fully refunded.
Doors open 6.30pm, Band starts at 7.45pm (2 sets with interval).
