Andrew Pridham is Joint Founder and Vice Chairman of MA Financial Group (formerly Moelis Australia) and Chairman of the Sydney Swans.
ASX-listed MA Financial Group had grown significantly since its creation in 2009. Today, it has more than 370 staff located in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and London. It manages approximately $6 billion in assets, including almost $1 billion located in South Australia. A $10,000 investment in MA Financial Group, when it was founded in 2009, is today worth approximately $650,000.
Andrew has been a Director of the Sydney Swans since 2002 and its Chairman since 2014.
Andrew has more than 30 years’ experience in business and investment banking. Prior to co-founding MA Financial Group, he spent 13 years at UBS, ultimately as Global Head of Real Estate and 6 years at JPMorgan where he was Executive Chairman of its Investment Banking business in Australia.
He was appointed Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the 2019 Australia Day honours for distinguished service to the investment banking and asset management sector, to sporting groups, and to philanthropy.
Andrew is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business at his alma mater the University of South Australia. In his blissful youth, he attended Rostrevor College and was an enthusiastic member of the Norwood Cheer Squad.
