PLC Open Garden Day 2021
The PLC Open Garden Day showcases some of Peppermint Grove's most spectacular gardens as they blossom in spring.
Organised by PLC Parents, this year's Open Garden Day will grant the ticket holder access to six marvellous private gardens in historic settings, spectacular music performances, various art demonstrations, and more!

Date: Friday 22 October 2021
Time: 10.00 am - 2.00 pm
Cost: $25 per person $15 Pension & Senior Card Holders (must show valid card)
Refunds: In the case of State Government imposed lockdown, all tickets will be fully refunded
Tickets are available for purchase on the day at Manners Hill Park (where free parking is) from 8.30 am, or at Scorgie House PLC (14 McNeil St Peppermint Grove), and also at the entry to each of the gardens, however, ticketing will be limited therefore we recommend purchasing your tickets online by clicking the button above.
WHAT'S ON OFFER:
- Visit six (6) magnificent gardens and learn about the property’s history whilst you are there
- Listen to live music performances by PLC music students, Emma van Schouwen, and 'The Burbs'
- Meet our local artist, Jane Zandi, at work in one of the most beautiful settings
- Learn about the beautiful art of arranging flowers with Rebecca Grace from Natural Art Flowers
- Browse and shop at our traffic-free marketplace experience on View Street featuring over 40 market stalls with a broad variety of exquisite locally-made products
- Hear from historian, author, and broadcaster, Richard Offen, who will conduct two fact-filled presentations on the history of Perth gardening and the history of Peppermint Grove
- Grab a bite to eat and sit down in our 'Tea-Junction' at 17Mc Neil Street
- Free hop-on/hop-off bus service to take you to the gardens and marketplace. Busses will run in 15-minute intervals from 9.30 am - 2.30 pm

- Entry into the gardens is at your own risk.
- No cuttings are to be taken from the gardens and to respect the owner's privacy, we ask visitors not to take any photographs.
- This is a dog-free event.

RAFFLE DRAW:
- Raffle Tickets will be sold at various locations prior to Open Garden Day and at our tickets stations on the day.
- The Raffle will be drawn at 2.00 pm at Scorgie House by Principal, Cate Begbie.
