Expression of Interests
Facilitation and Conflict Resolution Training Course, Broome WA 2022
This three-day, intensive, practical master class is designed for those working in community and stakeholder participation and engagement, and in areas where there is potential for conflict.
Conflict is a normal and healthy aspect of everyday life. Through conflict, new ideas are generated. A skilled facilitator can assist communities to make more effective decisions by learning how to manage those conflicts, work with divergent stakeholder groups and build positive outcomes. Skilled facilitators also increase the capacity of those they work with, enabling them to work cooperatively, manage conflict constructively and produce positive outcomes.
This course caters to those with little past experience and for facilitators who have been practicing for many years. It will be invaluable to you if you:
- work with communities and organisations in natural resource/cultural heritage management or planning, or undertake community-level consultations in the social, health and wellbeing space.
- work on complex problems with multiple stakeholders to make a positive impact and change
- work collaboratively with a mix of people and professions
- are involved in a process of strategic planning or in organisational change
- lead a team
Offered by Adelaide-based ‘Planning with Communities’ organisation, this course is now being delivered across the country. It has been developed and refined over many years and is taught utilising practical and easily transferable skills to help you excel in your field.
The cost $1950-00 per person for 3 full days (incl. catering).
