On Shore and Sea
A Dramatic Cantata composed for, and performed at, the opening of the London International Exhibition at the Royal Albert Hall, London, 1 May, 1871. In it's 150th Anniversary this performance is believed to be an Australian Premiere. Sullivan wrote the work in recognition for all those caught up in war – those who leave their homes and those that wait behind.
The Cantata is supported by excerpt from "Ruddigore" and "HMS Pinafore". The performance will be followed by refreshments.
