Are you ready to start sculpting?
You will need:
- a smooth, flat surface to work on such as a place mat or board
- an old toothbrush or skewer
- an old paint brush
- a small lidded container for mixing and storing ‘slip’
- a selection of pottery modelling tools or substitutes such as an icy pole stick, a pencil, and a craft knife (used only under adult supervision)
- air drying clay (minimum 500 gm) from your local art supplier.
