We are excited to run Engineering Camp in South Yarra, Melbourne!
Children will use Lego to build different working robots and machines. Motion, colour, touch, tilt and other sensors will be used to give input to these robots so they respond to movements around them!
Different activities and robots every day.
Range of robots and machines of increasing complexity. Each child will work according to their age and ability. Every child will feel inspired and successful!

This year's theme is Space Exploration. We will look at different types of robots that assist with space conquest!
Children will:
- Build and experiment with complex Lego machines, learning mechanical engineering principles behind them
- Learn to code Lego EV3 Mindstorm engine and Lego WeDo hubs.
- Make and experiment with robots including space rover, Wall-E, robotic arm, robot aliens, robotic crane and much more!
- Solve engineering challenges using the scientific method - learning to be creative within scientific constraints.
- Learn the practical use and purpose of robotics in medicine, defence, construction, manufacturing.
- Be inspired to become future innovators, thinkers, and shapers of a world dominated by technology.
- Build and work according to their age and ability
Please note:
- All materials including electronics and iPads will be provided. Children are only required to bring their own food and water for the day!
- Children will NOT be taking any of their robots home. The robots are made of Lego and will be disassembled at the end of the day.
