Take on Board - climate governance in the boardroom
Take on Board is the podcast where we talk all things Boards and governance.
Join us for this online event where Marianna O'Gorman will take us through:
- The carbon budget and how much we have left
- Some small and big steps you can make in the boardroom to address climate change risk and governance including setting emission reduction targets and providing transparent carbon disclosures.
- Directors duties in relation to climate change and how the regulators (ASIC, APRA & RBA) are defining those duties and monitoring enforcement.
- She will also briefly address the two national policy proposals being taken to the next Federal election by the major parties and what impact each may have.
It’s an event not to be missed as climate governance is fast becoming a ‘must have’ skill in the boardroom!
Marianna specialises in climate risk and governance. She is a non executive director for the Stanwell Corporation (the second largest energy generator in Australia) and a board member for The McKell Institute. Marianna has also served as an Associate Director for the Clean Energy Finance Corporation.
At this event you’ll also get the chance to be part of this by asking questions.
You’ll also get to meet some of the Take on Board community not only from Australia, but across the world!
Let us know if you have any queries – otherwise, we look forward to seeing you there!
