Wallaby Creek Festival is a 3 day celebration of music and the arts, at Wallaby Creek at Wallaby Creek Bridge, 720 Shipton's Flat Road Rossville, surrounded by the beautiful wet tropics rainforest of the far north. The festival has been held in the middle week of the September school holidays each year at Rossville just south of Cooktown. 2022 will be our 20th festival!.
The three day program offers music on 2 main stages, and on the third stage, a jam/chalkboard stage, with something for everyone. Poets Breakfast and a packed workshops schedule, Circus, Dance, Roving street theatre, a complete Children's Festival, delicious food stalls, healing spaces & market stalls and croc free swimming in the Wallaby Creek and the Annan River, complement the entertainment. Camping is included in the three day festival ticket with bush showers and toilets.
