Pacific Chamber Players second concert series for 2022 is an all-Romantic affair featuring works for woodwind and piano. From 1830 – 1900 music had a subjective bent with an emphasis on sound and the expression of one’s feelings.The programme will include the gorgeous Caprice Op 79 and Bassoon Sonata by Saint-Saëns, Schumann’s highly expressive Fantasy Pieces Op 73 for clarinet and Elgar’s very English Six Promenades.
