Perth Recital Series presents a concert by international pianist Seta Tanyel with some of Perth's top string players. The center of the program is an audience favourite, Schubert's famous Trout Quintet. Tanyel will also perform virtuosic solo works including Beethoven's "Appassionata" Sonata, and Chopin's Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise.Seta Tanyel, piano

Seta Tanyel is a London-based Armenian pianist, of Austrian citizenship. She won major prizes at the inaugural Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition and the Beethoven International Piano Competition in Vienna. Tanyel's impressive discography of more than twenty recordings on Chandos, Collins and Hyperion are highly regarded. In addition to her active performing and teaching career, Tanyel has also been a jury member for many international piano competitions, including the most recent Sydney International Piano Competition.
