Tin Can Art Workshop with Ange Jeffery
About
These school holidays join Wiradjuri artist Ange Jeffery in a free tin can art workshop where kids will be able to paint their personal designs on a re-used tin can that could be used to hold their pens, plants and trinkets (or hide lollies). By re-using something that often ends up in landfill rather than recycled, kids will explore ideas around sustainability and looking after Country for happy, healthy people for years to come.A collaborative in-person making session allowing kids aged 5+ (with an adult supervisor) to participate in a fun and cultural experience.
All materials will be provided, plus a light lunch.
This workshop is free, but bookings are required.
This workshop is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children only.
