[Webinar: 'Integrated Model of Care for Fathers in the Perinatal Period' - Thomas Docking]
“Integrated Model of Care for Fathers in the Perinatal Period” - how collaborations of great organisations and great leaders can impact system change!
Evidence shows that as users or potential users of health and social services, fathers often have poor experiences.
This is due to a range of reasons including:
● services mostly working in silos with each focusing on specific life stages (eg pregnancy or early parenthood), with little continuity across these stages.
● fathers receiving the least support among the triad that makes up families; the majority of support targets mothers or infants.
Building a continuum of care on the foundations of perinatal health support requires each sector to contribute a small yet impactful element of the overall model of care.
In this webinar, Thomas will discuss and explore engaging Father's for improved family outcomes.
