ADFAS Brisbane: In the Kingdom of Sweets
Nigel Bates is our guest lecturer, Nigel has had a varied musical career, starting in the Regimental Band of the Scots Guards to holding the appointment of Professor at London's Guildhall School of Music & Drama. He was appointed Section Principal Percussion of the Royal Opera House Orchestra, Covent Garden in 1993.

The Nutcracker Suite has delighted audiences at Christmas for many decades, yet it was deemed a failure at its first performance.
