Launch into LITTLE ROCKETS and build the foundational skills needed to be a future circus extraordinaire! Acrobatics, tumbling, conditioning and circus play are all explored in this fun and highly active class. 3...2...1... Go!

THEATRE WORKS (Palmerston)
Artform: Theatre & Scripts
Delve deep into some of Australia’s most exciting contemporary texts, in this program that brings scripts to life. Following the rehearsal process that takes place in professional theatres, THEATRE WORKS will prepare you for the performing arts industry, and a life on the stage. Across a semester scripts will be dissected, characters will be rigorously explored and rehearsals with leading theatre directors will see the program result in a two-season performance.

PLAY MAKERS (formerly Stage One and Acting Up)
Artform: Theatre, storytelling & imaginative play
A place to play, make, and make plays!
Our newly named PLAY MAKERS class is for all budding performers and storytellers. We will explore fun ways to create characters alongside a range of creative ways to tell stories, including acting with shadow play, projection and puppets! Even though PLAY MAKERS has a focus on skills development, there will be opportunities to show off those skills to family and friends, through in-class showings, or performing at our Raise the Roof Cabaret Extravaganza!

DYNAMITE CIRCUS
Artform: Circus (foundations)
Acrobatics, equilibristics, and manipulations will see DYNAMITE CIRCUS skills explode! Participants will build their strength as well as improve their flexibility and coordination through conditioning, essential for circus extraordinariness. They will develop a specialist skill, alongside fun groupwork.
Ages: 9 – 16 years
Mondays: 4.15 – 5.45pm

CIRCUS TROUPE
Artform: Circus, storytelling & aerial
TROUPE is for young and emerging circus artists with a high level of skill and a desire to make performances. TROUPE encompasses all circus forms, with ensemble members working collaboratively to train and make new work. Access through audition only, this is Corrugated Iron’s most advanced level of circus artistry.
Ages: Up to 30 years
Mondays: 6.00 – 8.30pm

COMPANY C
Artform: Theatre, storytelling & writing
Company C is for emerging artists with previous performance experience and an interest in taking their skills to the next level. Working with arts industry professionals, Company C members will play a leading role in Corrugated Iron Youth Arts’ performance program and be drivers in the creation of new theatre work.
Ages: 13 – 25 years

MINI SPARKS (New)

Big people and small people are invited to discover the magic of circus!
MINI SPARKS is a play-based introduction to being the boss of your body and learning how to move, shake and explore the world of circus. Not just for children, adults are required to join in on the adventure as together you navigate soft circus play and cool tricks!

FLIGHT SCHOOL
Artform: Aerial (beginners/returners)
Ever dreamt of learning to fly? Glide on in and join our introduction to aerials no matter what your experience levels are - have fun, learn tricks and develop performance skills.
FLIGHT SCHOOL builds on aerial foundation skills and develops core strength needed to get you up in the air and flying high! If you’ve seen cool tricks you want to try, this class will give you the building blocks towards reaching your aerial goals.

HIGH FLYERS
Artform: Aerial (experienced/explorers)
This class is for aerial improvers who already have a grounding in foundational aerial skills. You are invited to choose a specialisation in Tissu or Trapeze to focus on the during the term. Classes include conditioning and strength building to develop your muscles, flexibility and endurance in a fun and supportive environment. This class is great for participants who are wanting to join Troupe in the future.

ZERO GRAVITY (New)

Invite only
Want to develop your aerial awesomeness even further? Come and hone your techniques and generate new aerial choreography in this invite/audition only class. This class is open to Troupe aerialists and advanced artists who would like more time in the air.

Can't physically get to a Corro workshop? That doesn't mean you have to miss out on the fun! No matter where you are in the Northern Territory, join us direct from your own home. This highly practical drama program will have you creating worlds and characters in your living room in no time! All you need is a computer, webcam, Wi-Fi connection and a whole lot of imagination!

Develop your skills WRITE NOW! as a storyteller through our new writing program led by acclaimed local playwright Ciella Williams. This program introduces young and emerging writers to the different styles, techniques and forms of writing, all whilst developing scripts, scenes, poems, zines and musings of your own.

THE PLAYWRIGHTS (New)

Do you have something to say? Do you have a seed of a story or a character that’s been bubbling around in your brain? Then join THE PLAYWRIGHTS!
Led by Ciella Williams, one of Darwin’s most exciting and experienced playwrights, and ex-Corro member! Ciella has since gone on to write and produce plays her own plays at Brown’s Mart Theatre with New Ghost Theatre both in Darwin and Sydney. She’s also been a mentor for the ATYP Fresh Ink writers’ program and is excited to bring her skills back to Corro. This program will result in a public reading of the work created.

Our newly adapted ACTING OUT! is a skills development class that quickly brings your stories, characters, and ideas to life, by making you think on your feet! Participants will get to show off their quick-thinking skills through in-class showings, or performing at our Raise the Roof Cabaret Extravaganza!
Ages: 9 – 11 years (Upper Primary School)

MOVING PICTURE ASSOCIATION

Whether you’re interested in screenwriting, camera operating, sound recording or video editing, this is the place to share your screen passion with a group of like-minded content makers. Together we'll form a filmmaking crew and work with a strong concept and theme to kickstart and create a piece of original video entertainment. Jumping, flipping and bouncing in stealth mode. The sky is the limit in this multi-skilled class. With acrobatics and tumbling at its heart, you will also develop solo specialities and embed groupwork for performance. NINJAS is perfect for emerging circus artists wanting to have fun, develop extra skills and for Troupe members wanting extra circus time.

BACKSTAGE (formerly Tech Club)

Tech Club has expanded! Our newly named BACKSTAGE program will now cover all you need to know in the world of live production. From stage management to prop-making, lighting design to audio tech, not only will BACKSTAGE give you skills, but also hands-on experience by becoming our production and tech crew for Corro's performances. The term also includes an excursion to Darwin Entertainment Centre to experience what’s possible in the tech world.
