tilde, Melbourne’s only trans and gender diverse film festival, returns to FCAC. In 2018, tilde presents its 4th Festival with a bumper program that showcases the best of local and international trans and gender diverse cinema. Join us for an astounding array of films, post-film conversations and community celebrations.
Spanning various genres, highlights of this year’s program include Transblack, a local documentary series that delves into the lives of Brotherboys and Sistergirls, as well as the tilde Youth Shorts program featuring local film First Day, which amplifies the voices of young trans people seeking the right to education.
