Our Kitchen Table needs your help
Join us on Mitzvah Day - 18th November 2018

Mitzvah DaY

Mitzvah Day (meaning doing a good deed) was born out of the belief that we can all make a positive difference to our world by taking action – together. On this day Our Kitchen Table is continuing our mission of engaging volunteers to make a difference to the lives of people in need through craft related activities.

On 18 November  Our Kitchen Table will be offering activities that will become gifts and will be included in the Welcome Care Packs we donate to women and children living in safe houses.

Our event will begin at 10 am and run through to 4pm and will comprise the following activities.

  • Painting pots
  • Sewing – aprons, dolls, silk scarves
  • Pattern cutting for aprons, silk scarves
  • French bracelet making
  • Assemble french bracelet packs
  • Knitting – squares
  • Making gift cards  

We would love to have you join us and make lots of mitzvahs. To assist in organising an efficient day please book in for your preferred Session time/s. Sessions run for 2 hours (please arrive 10 minutes earlier to Sign In, grab a bite to eat and Briefing). You are welcome to sign up for as many sessions as you like.

If you are able to come at 9am to help with 'Set Up' or at 4pm to help with 'Pack Down', please select those Session Times when booking. There is no cost to book a session.
