Prince Alfred College One Crowded Hour
from Prince Alfred to Lionel Logue and James Ashton

Presented by Prince Alfred College and the City of Norwood Payneham and St Peters, an inspirational behind the scenes glimpse at the rich history and heritage of Prince Alfred College (est. 1869) and the Wesleyans in Kent Town, Norwood, and St Peters.
Historian Denise Schumann, will discuss the role of the Wesleyans as a socially-progressive force in Adelaide's East.
College Archivist Kate Pulford, will lead a special guided tour providing rare access to tangible cultural heritage items relating to HRH Prince Alfred Duke of Edinburgh, Lionel Logue (The King's Speech) and painter James Ashton, College Art Master of 40 years.
Morning concludes with morning tea in the Ashton Room in the 1878 Main Building, designed by architect Daniel Garlick.
