Parent Seminar - Building Mentally Healthy Kids (SOLD OUT)
There is little doubt the past 18 months has tested and challenged our mental health as a whole community. We often talk about the resilience of our children and young people, and how we can support them to be mentally healthy as they learn and grow in these times.
Aquinas College invites you to join well known Clinical Psychologist, Andrew Fuller, to explore how you can help to build mentally healthy young people. Andrew Fuller takes a deep dive into the architecture of our everyday human emotions to understand why we think, act and behave the way we do and how you can use emotions for your own personal good, rather than letting them rule your life.
Topics in the session will include:
• The active ingredients of resilience
• How parents can develop these in their children
• Neurochemistry and parenting
• Creating happy children
• Building self-esteem and dealing with set backs
Bookings are essential due to current limitations on capacity in the Mahon Theatre.
This parent seminar is not to be missed.
