Landcare Plant Identification training
About
This training session is free and open to all West Gippsland Landcare group members or network staff. It is facilitated by Dr Simone Louwhoff, lecturer at Federation University, who will cover the fundamentals of how to identify plant species on your property as well as walk you through a practical session in the nearby Flora and Fauna reserve. Please wear appropriate protective clothing such as closed toe shoes and sunscreen.10am – Welcome and powerpoint presentation covering different plant groups, EVC's and what they mean in terms of vegetation structure and some things to consider when revegetating your property.
11am – Morning tea provided (Please advise us if you have any food allergies)
11.30am – Drive to nearby Flora & Fauna reserve for a walk to identify plants in the wild
12.30pm – finish up.
