TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Landcare Australia Corporate Environmental Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in Landcare Australia’s Employee Engagement program. For over 20 years this program has enabled Corporate Environmental Volunteers to contribute to uniquely Australian partnerships between the community, government and business, to better manage Australia’s crucial land, water and biodiversity assets.
LANDCARE AUSTRALIA is the leading not-for-profit organisation responsible for raising awareness and funding for the Landcare movement, who strive to protect, restore and sustain Australia’s natural environment.

ALL BOOKINGS ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. Safety and Supervision:
1.1. Landcare Australia will take all reasonably practicable steps to ensure the health, wellbeing and safety of participants;
1.2. Landcare Australia will ensure participants and activities are supervised, managed and coordinated to provide a safe working environment;
1.3. Landcare Australia will provide a safety documentation (e.g. Job Safety Analysis) to the Company representative prior to each event
1.4. Employees will take reasonable care for their own health and safety, including wearing suitable clothing as recommended by Landcare Australia; and act in a responsible manner at all times;
1.5. Staff or volunteers are requested not to attend the event if they have had any COVID-19 symptoms or have recently tested positive for COVID.

2. Insurance:
2.1. Landcare Australia has personal accident insurance that covers injury to participants whilst engaged in Landcare activities as part of this program;
2.2. The Company booking this event has Workers’ Compensation Insurance that covers its employees whilst engaged in Landcare activities as part of this program.

3. Cancellations and Notifications:
3.1. Landcare Australia is responsible for notifying you of any changes to the volunteering location or activity prior to the event;
3.2. Events will go ahead in all weather conditions, unless it is deemed unsafe by the host group. Landcare Australia will reschedule events cancelled due to adverse weather to a date suitable for both the corporate and Landcare Australia.
3.3. In the event that the Host Group Supervisor becomes unwell, and a replacement supervisor cannot be arranged, Landcare Australia will postpone the event, and reschedule to a date suitable for both the corporate and Landcare Australia.
3.4. Any changes to the event booking, inc. postponements, changes in participant numbers, etc. requires a minimum of fifteen (15) business days’ notice is required. Events cancelled within 15 business days of the event will not be rescheduled or refunded.
3.5. Landcare Australia reserves the right to cancel and refund any bookings by organisations that may pose a risk to the Landcare Australia brand.

4. Promotions:
4.1. I agree to give Landcare Australia permission to release images and media for the consented photographs or videos, which may be taken during events, in Landcare Australia literature including online mediums, or release photographs to members of the press or other media interested in reporting on the event.
