Nature Playgroup Terms & Conditions
1. Ticket Sales & Refund Policy
All ticket sales are final – no refunds, credits, or transfers unless required by law.
Tickets are non-transferable. Only tickets purchased directly from us are valid for entry. (⚠️ Beware of scams—fake ticket resales will not be honored.)
If an event is canceled by us due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer an alternative session or a credit for future use.
2. Supervision & Responsibility
Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times during the session.
Our facilitators are there to guide activities but are not responsible for direct child supervision.
3. Free Play & Structured Activities
We encourage free play! Our sessions include open-ended nature stations for children to explore at their own pace.
In addition, we offer:
🌿 A guided bush walk led by our facilitators.
📖 Storytime and songs to engage children in a shared experience.
Participation in structured activities is optional—children are free to engage as they feel comfortable.
4. Safety & Risk Acknowledgment
Nature play involves inherent risks, including exposure to natural elements, uneven terrain, insects, and wildlife. By attending, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
We strongly advise wearing long sleeves, enclosed shoes, and following our tick and snake safety guidelines.
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child follows safety instructions.
5. Weather Policy
We are an all-weather playgroup and sessions go ahead in most conditions (rain or shine).
Sessions may be canceled in the case of severe weather (e.g., extreme storms, dangerous winds). We will notify participants via email/SMS as early as possible.
6. Photography & Media Consent
Photos/videos may be taken during sessions for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to have your child photographed, please inform us in writing before the session.
7. Health & Wellbeing
Please do not attend if you or your child are unwell or experiencing contagious symptoms.
You are responsible for bringing necessary medications (e.g., EpiPens, inhalers) and informing us of any allergies or medical conditions in advance.
8. Liability Waiver
By attending, you acknowledge that participation is at your own risk, and the organizers, facilitators, and venue owners are not liable for injuries, accidents, or property loss.
